Crossed Wires formed in 2021 in Austin's vibrant South Congress scene when four session musicians tired of backing other acts decided to channel their collective pocket into original material. Their sound fuses crisp pop-rock hooks with funk-infused grooves, driven by a rhythm section that prioritizes tight, danceable pocket over traditional rock bombast.

The band's philosophy centers on "locked-in energy" — every part serves the groove while still delivering stadium-ready choruses. What sets the ensemble apart is its hybrid approach: syncopated guitar scratches and melodic bass slides underpin baritone vocals that explode into layered falsetto harmonies, while distorted power chords and lead fills punch through in the choruses.
