Backstory
Born in New Orleans but raised in the Mississippi hills, Rufus learned pedal steel from a rodeo musician uncle. Played in country outfits before discovering blues organ in Memphis churches. Joined Crow Hill to add that haunting layer, his B3 swells filling the spaces between notes like fog on the river.
